Call (740) 812-9489If you need Memorial Tournament towing or a quick roadside fix during tournament week, this page explains how we help around Muirfield Village Golf Club at 5750 Memorial Drive in Dublin. The event is played each year in late May or early June; the tournament has announced May 31 through June 6 for 2027. Patrons park free, either at the 6th Tee Lot on Dublin Road or at the Columbus Zoo, then ride shuttles to the course, so most car trouble happens in a parking lot a few miles from the gates, often at the end of a hot day. Roadside Towing & Recovery Inc, an independent Columbus company, answers (740) 812-9489 around the clock. We can jump a battery, open a locked door, change a flat, or tow the car to a shop, following the rates posted on our site.

Knowing which lot you used is the first thing our dispatcher will ask. The tournament's traffic page lists the 6th Tee Lot at 10555 Dublin Road (State Route 745), the Columbus Zoo lot at 4850 Powell Road with free patron parking and shuttle service, the Ashbaugh Lot on Brand Road east of Muirfield Drive, and a disabled-parking lot at 6013 Glick Road that requires a state placard. Rideshare drop-offs are handled at the 6th Tee Lot and at Entrance 15 on Muirfield Drive.
Shuttles on tournament days run until about an hour after play ends, so a car that refuses to start at the zoo lot may be surrounded by hundreds of others pulling out at once. Tell us the lot name, the nearest shuttle stop or sign, and your car's color and model.
During tournament week the course neighborhood runs on temporary traffic rules. The tournament's published plan makes Carnoustie Drive eastbound-only between Muirfield Drive and Glick Road for the week, and it turns Glick Road between Shawnee Trail and Riverside Drive, plus the O'Shaughnessy Bridge, into eastbound-only routes on competition days from mid-afternoon until an hour after play.
Those restrictions matter if you break down on the way out. A driver stalled on Glick Road heading toward Riverside Drive may need a truck that approaches from the west, which can take longer. Give us your exact spot, the direction you were moving, and whether a police officer or traffic volunteer is directing cars nearby. If an officer has the car moved, that tow is dispatched by police rather than chosen by you.
Hours in a sunny lot with the radio or a cooler plugged in is hard on a weak battery. A jump start comes with a printed battery test, and we can swap in a new battery on site if the old one fails. For keys locked inside, we handle lockout service; for a nail picked up on the drive in, we do tire changes using your spare.
Each of those is a flat $75 plus en-route at $4 per mile from our yard, per our rate card. When the car has to go, a flatbed tow or emergency tow runs $4 a mile en-route, a $125 hook-up and $7 per loaded mile, plus any listed surcharges, such as the weekend fee on Saturday and Sunday rounds.
We cover Dublin and Powell year-round, not only during golf week. Most metro calls are reached in 20 to 40 minutes, with outer communities in 40 to 60; these are estimates, and tournament exit traffic can slow any vehicle on Muirfield Drive, Glick Road or Riverside Drive. If the zoo lot is where you parked, our Columbus Zoo page has more detail on that lot.
A practical tip for tournament days: before you board the shuttle, take a photo of the nearest lot sign and note which row you are in. Overflow lots look the same after dark, and a precise description gets a truck to the right car. Leave interior lights and chargers off while you watch golf, and if your battery has been slow to crank lately, mention that when you call so the driver comes ready to test and replace it.
Yes. We tow from the 6th Tee Lot, the Columbus Zoo lot and roads around Muirfield Village when the car cannot be driven. Call (740) 812-9489 with the lot name and car description. No. We are an independent towing company with no affiliation with the Memorial Tournament, Muirfield Village Golf Club, the PGA TOUR or the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. We are not stationed at any lot. You reach us the same way you would on any other day, through our 24/7 dispatch line. Tournament staff can point you to lot exits, but they do not dispatch us.
Yes. Tell dispatch you are at the Columbus Zoo lot at 4850 Powell Road, then describe where the car sits relative to the shuttle pickup. A jump start is $75 plus en-route at $4 per mile from our yard and includes a battery test with a printed report. A replacement battery can be installed on the spot if the test shows it is worn out.
Pull as far off the travel lane as you safely can, turn on your hazards, and call. Tell us which road, which direction you were heading, and the closest cross street. Temporary eastbound-only rules on Glick Road, Carnoustie Drive and the O'Shaughnessy Bridge can change our route, so accurate details help us plan the approach.
The tournament is held in late May or early June, and the 2027 event is scheduled for May 31 through June 6. Traffic peaks on the four competition days, especially in the late afternoon when play ends and shuttles unload. Check the tournament's traffic page for the current year's parking and road plan.
Yes. Our dispatch answers 24/7, so a car that won't start after the last shuttle can still be jumped, unlocked or towed. Calls between 10 PM and 6 AM carry the after-hours surcharge shown on the rate card. Stay in a lit area near your car if possible while you wait. Keep your ticket or parking pass handy in case lot staff ask why you are still there.
