How the Free Tow Works
- Open the Roadside app. Open the Roadside Emergency Management App at convini.live in your phone's browser; there is nothing to download.
- Request the tow and acknowledge the offer. Share your location, choose an in-network partner shop as the destination, and acknowledge the free-tow offer.
- We tow it to the shop. Up to 5 miles inside the I-270 loop, or within 5 miles of the shop.
- Repair $750+ = up to $100 off the tow. When the repair order is $750 or more before tax, we cover up to the first $100 of a standard tow of a small or medium-size car.
The Rules
- One free tow per customer. It is a one-time introductory offer for the Roadside app and our partner shops, and no VIP membership is needed.
- Request the tow in the Roadside app (the Roadside Emergency Management App, at convini.live). It is a web app that runs in your phone's browser, so there is nothing to download. Tows requested by phone are billed at our standard published rate.
- Acknowledge the free-tow offer when you request the tow.
- Choose an in-network partner repair shop as the destination.
- The repair order at that shop is $750 or more before tax (sales tax is added on top and does not count toward the $750).
- The tow is up to 5 miles to the shop, either inside the I-270 loop or within 5 miles of the in-network shop.
- The offer is worth up to $100: it covers up to the first $100 of a standard tow.
- Small and medium-size cars only. Large work units are excluded from this offer.
- Any extra equipment, or special time needed to prepare or load the car, is paid by the customer above the $100 covered.
- If the repair order is under $750 before tax, or you take the car somewhere else, the tow is billed at our standard published rate.
After the job we will ask you to review us on our own review page and on Google. That is a request, not a condition: the free tow never depends on leaving a review or on what it says.
Repairs are performed by independent partner shops: the Alpha Automotive network and standalone partners such as Arrow Transmissions & Automotive. Roadside Towing & Recovery Inc provides the tow, the CONVINI app coordination, and VIP member pricing.
Where the Shops Are

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a free tow?
One free tow per customer, no membership needed: request it in the Roadside app (the Roadside Emergency Management App), acknowledge the offer, and when your repair order at an in-network partner shop is $750 or more before tax, we cover up to the first $100 of a standard tow of a small or medium-size car — up to 5 miles inside the I-270 loop or within 5 miles of the shop. Open the app at convini.live in your phone's browser (nothing to download), request the tow there, and pick an in-network shop as the destination.
Do I have to be a VIP member?
No. The free tow is a one-time introductory offer for the Roadside app and our partner shops, open to anyone who requests the tow in the app and acknowledges the offer. VIP membership is separate and adds its own included tows and labor discounts.
What if the repair order is less than $750 before tax?
Then the tow is billed at our standard published rate — the same price anyone pays. The same goes for a tow to a shop outside the network, or a tow longer than 5 miles.
Can I call instead of using the app?
You can always call (740) 812-9489 and we will send a truck, but the free tow only applies to tows requested in the Roadside Emergency Management App. Phone requests are billed at our standard published rate.
How is the 5 miles measured?
The tow qualifies when it is up to 5 miles and either stays inside the I-270 loop or starts within 5 miles of the in-network shop you choose.
How much of the tow does the offer cover?
Up to the first $100 of a standard tow of a small or medium-size car, going up to 5 miles to the in-network shop. Most short tows to a nearby partner shop fall inside that. If the job needs extra equipment, such as dollies or a winch, or special time to prepare or load the car, anything above the $100 is paid by you, and dispatch tells you before the truck hooks up.
Does the free tow cover trucks and large vehicles?
No. The offer is for small and medium-size cars. Large work units are excluded, so work trucks and other large vehicles are towed at our standard published rate. If you are not sure which group your vehicle falls in, tell dispatch the make and model when you request the tow and they will confirm before the truck is sent.
Can I use the free tow more than once?
No. It is one free tow per customer, offered to introduce you to the Roadside app and the in-network partner shops. Later tows are billed at our standard published rate, or covered as included tows if you join the VIP Repair Program.
Do I have to leave a review?
After the job we will ask you to review us on our own review page and on Google. That is a request, not a condition: the free tow never depends on leaving a review or on what it says.
