Call (740) 812-9489Clippers game towing covers the warm half of the year at Huntington Park, the Triple-A ballpark at Neil Avenue and Nationwide Boulevard. The Clippers' home schedule runs from April into September, so the trouble here looks different from a winter hockey night: tires that give out on hot pavement, cars that overheat after sitting in the sun, and keys locked inside while you juggle a glove, sunscreen and a kid. Weekday afternoon games bring their own squeeze, because the ballpark shares its lots with the office workers already parked downtown. This page walks through the lots near the park, what summer does to a car, and how to reach us once the last out is recorded. Our yard is at 1620 Harrisburg Pike, and most metro calls are reached in 20–40 minutes, always as an estimate.

Triple-A baseball plays many more home dates than football or hockey, which means the ballpark is busy on ordinary weeknights and on sunny weekday afternoons alike. The Clippers themselves warn that parking in the Arena District is extremely limited for weekday afternoon games, so fans end up in farther lots or squeezed into tight spaces, and that is where scraped sidewalls and door-ding lockouts start.
Evening games bring a different pattern. Families leave in waves, some after the seventh inning and some at the final out, so exit traffic is spread out instead of arriving all at once. That helps our driver reach you faster than on a sold-out arena night, though any timing we give is still an estimate.
Early-season games in April can be chilly enough to weaken a tired battery, while July and August games test cooling systems and tires.
Huntington Park has no parking of its own. The lots most fans use sit within a few blocks: the Broadbelt Lot just north of the park along Brodbelt Lane, the Buggyworks Lot to the west, the Fletcher Lot at 435 W. Nationwide Blvd., and Lot 54 at 373 W. Nationwide Blvd. Most are run by LAZ Parking and are cashless, with prepayment encouraged so exits move quickly. The McConnell Garage across Neil Avenue is the nearby covered option.
Surface lots rarely have painted row numbers, so give dispatch landmarks instead. Name the lot, then tell us which corner you are near, the closest light pole or fence line, and the color of the car beside you. A photo of the view from your car, texted to the technician, often does the rest.
Blacktop in a July lot gets hot enough to find the weak spot in an old tire, and a slow leak you ignored all week can go flat by the fourth inning. A tire change onto your spare is a flat $75 plus $4 a mile en-route. If there is no spare, or the spare is also flat, we can put the car on a flatbed and take it to a tire shop.
Heat stresses batteries too, and a car that ran the air conditioning hard on the drive in can refuse to restart after three hours baking in the sun. Our jump starts come with a printed battery test. If the temperature gauge climbed into the red on the way to the game, do not keep driving it; a coolant leak or failed fan is a tow, not a jump.
Ran the tank low hunting for a space? Fuel delivery is $75 plus $4 a mile en-route plus the fuel itself.
The quickest highway route from the ballpark is north on Neil Avenue to I-670, which connects to I-71 and SR-315. Drivers heading west or south often use Nationwide Boulevard toward Spring Street and Dublin Road instead. If your car dies in one of those lanes, get it to the curb if it will coast, switch on the hazards and call us from the sidewalk rather than from the driver's seat.
Games that run late can push you past 10 PM, which moves the call into the after-hours bracket on the rate card. A lockout discovered at your car is a flat $75 plus $4 a mile en-route; see our lockout service page for what to expect. If you end up needing a repair, we can deliver the car to a shop you choose.
Start with the cheaper fix: a jump is $75 flat plus $4 a mile en-route, and it includes a printed battery test. If the car truly needs to be towed, the charge is $4 a mile en-route, a $125 hook-up and $7 per loaded mile. Weekend games add $50, and calls after 10 PM add the $150 after-hours fee. Dispatch confirms the figure before the truck leaves.
Yes, as long as the car is somewhere the technician can work safely and you have a usable spare. Tell dispatch which corner of the lot you are in and which tire is flat. If the spare is missing or damaged, the technician can load the car onto a flatbed and bring it to a tire shop of your choice.
Probably not. An engine that ran hot usually has a cooling problem, such as a leak, a broken fan or low coolant, and restarting it can cause more damage. Let it cool, keep the hood closed if you see steam, and call for a tow to a repair shop. We can suggest one of our auto repair partners if you do not have a mechanic.
The Clippers say it is extremely limited, because offices downtown already fill many of the same lots and garages. Arriving early helps, and so does prepaying for a spot. If you end up in a farther lot and have trouble later, just give our dispatcher that lot's name and nearest cross street; we work anywhere in the district.
If a child or pet is locked inside a hot car, call 911 immediately; emergency responders should come first. For a lockout with no one trapped, call (740) 812-9489 and we will send the next available technician. Lockouts are a flat $75 plus en-route at $4 per mile from our yard, and you will need ID showing the car is yours.
