How the EV Quote Works

Pick the service (flatbed tow, 12V jump start, tire change, lockout or winch-out), tell us roughly how far the car is from our yard at 1620 Harrisburg Pike (typical: Downtown 6 miles, Grove City 5, OSU campus 9, Easton 15, Dublin 18, Westerville 20, Polaris 22, Delaware 32) and how far it needs to go, and the builder shows the exact total. Book and pay online and the phone scheduling fee is waived.

Frequently asked questions

Why is EV towing priced differently?

Every electric vehicle rides on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground, so EVs are billed on their own card: $2.50 per en-route mile from our yard to the pickup, a $150 flatbed hook-up fee and $7.50 per loaded mile, with a $100 highway surcharge and $75 per day storage. After-hours, weekend and large-vehicle surcharges are the same as the standard card.

What does en-route mileage mean?

The distance from our yard at 1620 Harrisburg Pike to where your car is. Typical distances: Downtown 6 miles, Grove City 5, OSU campus 9, Easton 15, Dublin 18, Westerville 20, Polaris 22, Delaware 32.

Can you jump a Tesla's 12V battery instead of towing it?

Often, yes. A 12V jump is a flat $75 plus en-route, and once the car wakes up it can be put into transport mode. If the high-voltage pack is empty or the car will not wake, it goes on the flatbed.

Where can you take my EV?

Anywhere you choose: the Tesla Service Center at Easton, an independent partner shop, your home charger or the nearest Supercharger. Tell the dispatcher the destination and the loaded miles are quoted up front.
